Matamp Retro Cabinet
The Retro range are our traditional picture frame front speaker cabinets available in a variety of formats. This one is the Standard 2×12 Retro in Vertical format, classic Matamp stack looks but with a smaller foorprint. The Matamp 2×12 RV Standard delivers all the performance you expect for a surprisingly reasonable cost
The 2×12 RV Standard features black basketweave vinyl, lloydloom fretcloth, white string, chrome corners and metal handles. The Standard cabinet comes loaded with a pair of the excellent Celestion V-Type speakers. These drivers deliver a twist on the Vintage 30 tone that really shines with a Matamp head. With 140w of power handling the 2×12 RV Standard is a great match for any of our amps.
Still constructed using 18mm plywood by hand in our Huddersfield workshop for a lifetime of service, nothing quite sounds like a Matamp cab.
